Show Funeral Services Conducted For Robert Hardy I ROBERT HARDY Funeral services for Robert Hardy, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Eugene Hardy of Cedar City, were held at the Cedar First Ward chapel Monday. Hardy died Friday morning of complications developing from injuries received receiv-ed in a single car accident on Tuesday, May 27. An employee of Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Cedar City Hardy was enroute to Minersville and Milford via the Minersville road. His car overturned and Hardy was not discovered for a short period of time. He was rushed to the Iron County hospital where he received medical attention. atten-tion. Later he contracted pneumonia pneu-monia and succumbed after a three-day struggle for his life. Hardy was scheduled to enter the L D S mission home in Salt Lake City on June 8, preparatory to serving a mission in California. Califor-nia. Bishop Adam Seegmiller conducted con-ducted the services. Prayer at the home was by Bishop Homer Jones. Invocation at the services was by Dr. Royden C. Braith-waite. Braith-waite. Opening song was by Virginia Rose, student at C S U, who sang, 'Til Walk With God." Speakers were Stake President Elwood J. Corry, Lorin Hirschi and Dr. P. K. Edmunds. Roy L. Halversen played a violin vio-lin solo, accompanied by Alan Seegmiller and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood sang, "In the Garden." Gar-den." They were accompanied by Bernella Jones. Benediction was by David L. Sargent and the dedicatory prayer pray-er at 'the Cedar City cemetery where Interment took place, was by Edward G. Matheson. Pall bearers were Larry Jones, Jerry Messer, Derrel Petty, Austin Aus-tin Munson, Tommy Givan, Kenneth Ken-neth Jones, Douglas Maxwell and Jerry Blackburn. Hardy is survived by his parents, par-ents, Eugene and Elma Bird Hardy, Har-dy, and a grandmother, Mrs.' Edna Ed-na B. Moody of Salt Lake City |
