Show W e-Ak-ilvi Members Gather For Special Program The We-Ak-Avi Club held a lovely tea Thursday evening at the LDS Institute. Eighty guests were present during the evening to enjoy this delightful affair under the chairmanship of Elaine Southwlck. Prof. Blaine Johnson and Prof. Richard Rowley were responsible for the outstanding program presented pre-sented during the evening, which consisted of a vocal solo from the opera "Carmen" rendered by John Davis, several duets by Christine Wenterrose and Prof. Johnson, and several numbers from "Carmen" sung by a quartet quar-tet composed of Mrs. Winterrose, Prof. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood. Mr. Rowley had several of his drama students from CSU present excerpts from the outstanding Greek plays presented earlier In the season. The beautiful floral arrangements arrange-ments were under the supervision supervi-sion of Ruth Hunter, Abbie Riddle Rid-dle and Flora Perry. The refreshment refresh-ment committee was composed of Elva Miles, Lucy Lunt and Belle , Webster. |
