Show Officers Given Reins At BPW Installation At the Business and Professional Profession-al Womens Club installation breakfast held on Sunday, May 20, 30 members and guests wit- j nessed very impressive cere- j monies conducted by vice presi- j dent Mary Anker. Three piano solos were given by Eugene Holman, newly elected elect-ed student body president at the College of Southern Utah, as musical mus-ical portion of the program. I Ellen Bulloch was installed for her second consecutive term as president of the BPW. Outgoing officers included Myrna Hansink, first vice president; Mary Anker, second vice president; Lydia Harter, recording secretary; Fern Johnson, corresponding secretary and Eula Gardner, treasurer. Carol Johnson was installed as first vice president for the coming com-ing year with Emma Neilson as second vice president. The new recording secretary is Paulino Nelson and the corresponding secretary se-cretary is Ruby Bunderson, Miss Rudell Mackelprang is the new treasurer. Lillian Lunt, BPW's selection as Woman of the Year, addressed the group at the breakfact and complimented the outgoing officers offic-ers on the fine projects that were accomplished under their leader- J ship. She presented Mrs. Bulloch; with a past president's pin. Notice was also given at the meeting of the State BPW Con-1 ventlon to be held In Beaver on June 18, 19 and 20. |
