Show High school junior elected FBLA vice president A Uintah High School junior was elected vice president for the Basin Region of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Paul Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Peterson, of Maeser, was selected for the office at th2 state competition April 25 and 26. Approximatley 1250 students from 38 high schools participated in the competition com-petition at Utah Technical College in Orem. Placing in the top ten in their events were: Art Daley and Deanna Good in executive decision making; Bill Phillips in business math and accounting ac-counting I and Warren Black in economics. Kathy Jameson placed third in state in accounting, and Sandy Perry placed second in business math. David Hacking received a special recognition award for "Who's Who in FBLA." "All students performed well and represented Uintah High School in an excellent manner," said Bob Jameson, FBLA advisor. |
