Show Parks and Recreation board meeting The Utah Parks and Recreation Board will hold its quartly meeting in Vernal Friday, at the Dinosaur National History State Museum. The board is scheduled to discuss a proposal from NGN Inc. for development develop-ment of the Great Salt Lake State Park on the site of the old Saltair Resort and alleged illegal homesteaders in Monument Valley. The panel's agenda also includes the proposed transfer of the Heber Creeper Scenic Railroad to the Timpanogos Preservation Society, the transfer of Red Fleet Lake in the Uintah Basin to ' state managment and a plan to build a " public" shooting range in Great ""Salt Lake State Park on Antelope Island. The quarterly meeting, scheduled to start at 9 a.m., is open to the public. |
