Show Former Vernalite promoted at Grand Coulee A career with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, now named the Water and Power Resources Service, has been topped by promotion to supervisor computer specialist-chief of the . computer sustcms branch at .Grand , Coulee, Washington, Jor Glen D. An-'.dr:"sjn..a An-'.dr:"sjn..a lunj; Uiiui resident of Vernal,.-, and Montrose. Colorado, and a graduate in 14 of the Utah Technical College at Provo-Orcm. In his current job at Grand Coulee. Anderson oversees the installation and maintenance of a programmable master supervisory control system, along w ith the maintenance of all other on-site computers used for various jobs throughout the Grand Coulee complex. He is in charge of three supervisors and 2j employees. Anderson started as an electronics repairman at U.S. Steel's Geneva Works In January of H67, he went to work for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in Montrose, Colorado, as an electronics elec-tronics technician. In October of 1977, tie transferred with the Bureau of Reclamation to Phoenix. Arizona, as a GS11 electronics technician to help with the installation and maintenance of a new programmable master supervisory control (PMSC) and data acquisition computer system. In March of 1!l78, he was promoted to GS 12 computer systems specialist, chief of the computer support branch. During his tour of duty in Phoenix, the USSR, became the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA). In October of 1979. he transferred to the Water and Power Resources Services, Ser-vices, formerly the U S B R. at Grand Coulee into his current position. . |
