Show By Diedru Northern Uintah's club takes first outing for the year. Saturday, April 26, the Uintah's Uin-tah's Club planned a picnic at Split Mountain. Thirtv of the members went and enjoyed all the scenery and ate lunch at the gorge. Bingo winner for the week of April 22 was Edith Gale" with six games. Second place was a tie between Ada Murray-and Murray-and Lillian Westwood both having four games. Nola McNeil having three games, came in third. Bingo is played every Tuesday afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m. If you would like to get out of the house, come and have fun at the bingo table. Monday's dinner at the Golden Age Center, had 140 Senior Citizens enjoying en-joying the baked ham dinner. On the menu for next Monday is: roast beef. Once again the Friday night dance was standing room only. The group from the Salt Lake Friendship Club arrived safely and really enjoyed the dance with many of our regular dancers. dan-cers. Those coming from Salt Lake were: Olive Horrocks, Julia Jacobsen, Thelma Tail, Reg and Lena Sanders, Walter Fishcher, Phyllis Bohn, Mildred Zabrishkie, Jules. S. and Vivian Gillette, Julian Mattheson, all of Salt Lake City. Gwen McFarlane, Roy Casper, Riverton; Jack and Bertha Garfield, Draper; Jack and Ida Holbrook, Lloyd and Lucille Eggett, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Hiusser, Tooele; Frank Chapman, Wesh Heber; Nina Eggett, Ken Spencer, Bluffdale; Paul P. Kendall, Elva Bolton, Magna; Onita Ivers, Midway; Louis J. Anitols, Copperton; Mr. Cox, Ogden; Theo Reading, Midvale and several other dancers stayed in Roosevelt with friends and relatives. The dancers were hosted by Newel and Marion Behunin, Milt and Florence Wooley, and Erma Carter to breakfast at the Behunin home Saturday morning. Reg Sanders accompanied the group on the piano with fun and religious songs during the morning breakfast. After breakfast the group went to the Dinosaur Monument and returned to their home Saturday evening. Other special guests were: Milton and Phyllis Miller, Grand Junction; Lewis and Betty Hampton, Tooele and Tom and Helen Egbert, Rock Springs. Mrs. Egbert and Mrs. Behunin met in Great Falls, Montana. She was given a complimentary record of Newel's Harmony Four and when she arrived in Rock Springs, she played it, her husband loved the music and . called his sister in Grand Junction and' told her about the good music, so they ' met in Vernal Friday and joined the dancers. ..Mr. Egbert is a friend of John Brimhall, son-in-law of Paul and Ada Murray. Woodey and Vonetta Searle brought a beautiful cake decorated with welcome dancers. ..Others helping with the snacks were: Wes and Iona Punches, Vernice and Clyde McDonald. Ronald and Merle Horrocks, Bryant and Betty Roper. Vida and Jim Clark, Helen and Dan Clark, Ralph and Lula Chew, Pat and Jay Searle, Dee and Ora Curfew, Thelma McKee, Barta Jenkins. Deloy. Cards were signed by dancers and sent to those on the sick list. Happy birthday was sung to Marie P. Hatch, who celebrated her 78th birthday bir-thday April 22. We wish you many more. Coming up is a wedding dance for Valora Merrill and Jack Willis 'Saturday May 3 at the Tridell Ward cultural hall. All the dancers are cordially invited to come. We wish this newly married couple many happy years together and hope they will continue to attend our dances. Newel's Harmony Four will be playing for the dance.
