Show WILL HOLD SERVICE FOR MRS. THEOBALD Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Smith Theobald, who died Thursday on the Mackay ranch, fifty miles southeast of Evanston, Wyo., and whose body was brought to Salt Lake yesterday morning, will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Twenty-second ward chapel. Interment Inter-ment will he in the City cemetery. The body may be viewed at the residence or" Mrs. Theobald's sister, Mrs. Daniel Mackay, 2-U.9 South Third East street, until 2 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Theobald was the wife of Stephen M. Theobald of this city. She accompanied accom-panied her husband and Daniel Mackay, with other members of the family, to the Mackay ranch for a ten days' pleasure trip. She had suffered for years from , asthma and heart trouble and it was be- lieved that the stay in the mountains j would benefit her health. She seemed to be in the. best of spirits until Thursday night after supper, when she fell in a faint after complaining of her stomach, dying-1 about two hours later in spite of all aid that could be rendered. Mrs. Theobald was born In Birmingham, Bir-mingham, England, and was brought to Salt Lake by her parents when but 1 year of age. For a number of years she was actively engaged in Relief society so-ciety work in the Mormon church and was president of the religion class of the Twenty-seventh ward for several years. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Harland,- 19 years of age and Roy, 15. |
