Show NEWHOUSE HOTEL MAY CHANGE HANDS E. W. Hulse and James H. Waters, Local Men, Are Negotiating for Big Hostelry. Negotiations now under way may result re-sult in the taking over of tne operating operat-ing company of the Nevvhouse hotel by E. W. Hulse, local broker, and .Tames H. Waters, broker and former half-owner half-owner of the Kenyon hotel. C. C. Parsons, Par-sons, Jr., attorney for the Newhouso hotel, last night declined to make any statement other than that negotiations are being carried on. Mr. Waters said last night that he and Mr. Hulse had been working on the proposed deal for some days, but that as yet nothing definite had been accomplished and that there is no immediate im-mediate prospect for a conclusion. It is the desire of Messrs, Hulse and Waters to purchase outright the operating oper-ating company with equipment and furniture. fur-niture. Both parties declined to discuss dis-cuss the possible consideration. Mr. Waters said last night that if the deal goes through he will probably assume the direct management of the hotel. It j is expected that further announcement of the progress of negotiations will be made on Monday. |
