Captain James 1 Montague Hullinps, a war prisoner in the camp at Doeberitz, is probably the youngest young-est British ofiicer of his rank. He is not yet elchtoen years old and commanded a battalion as a brevet major when he , was captured in one of the battles near Loos. The captain entered the army as a volunteer vol-unteer shortly after his sixteenth birth- j d-tv, and at seventeen was a first lieu- j tenant.
