OCR Text WOMAN VICTIM OF PECULIAR ACCIDENT Breaks Through Glass Canopy in Front of Hotel; Injuries Are Slight. Stepping from an upper story window upon the canopy of the Shelton hotel to secure a bettor view of tho biplane sailing over tho city yesterday morning Mrs. A. F. Cromwell, a guest of the hotel, found too lato that she had Bteppod upon a roof of glass. As she crashed through sho spread her arms out and caught tho framework. A ladder was secured and held at the base by Patrolman Carlborg. whilo Detective De-tective V. B. May of the Maylon Detective De-tective agonoy climbed up to assist the woman to safety, When sho let go, however, May lost his balance and was unablo to Bustain her weight. Both tumbled to the pavoment taking tho ladder lad-der and tho policemen with them. All Buffered slight bruisos.
