The "Gulch" was the center of attraction at-traction for thousands, and morry times were had therein, with much good feeline and enjoyment. To the few who took this mattor up and carried it to such successful conclusion, con-clusion, a high meed of praise is due, for thoy labored unwearingly and successfully suc-cessfully to give Salt Lake City a great carnival, and tho people appreciate appre-ciate that fact. Jt is not easy to awake Salt Lake City to the joys of a carnival, car-nival, and yot the people are so awakened awak-ened to those now, that it is safe to say that tho coming of tho Wizard next year will be an event immensely popular,' pop-ular,' beyond all previous visits; and that tho Wizard Carnival is certain to bo a sultry season event in Salt Dako of immense importance, both from the point of entertainment and its drawing draw-ing immense crowds to tho city, and consequently of enlivening trade and circulatinc money that is needed to make things lively, and in tho high class of exhibit and entertainment afforded. af-forded.
