A. Jj. Wostgaard, vico president and pathfinder of tho National Highways association, was tentlerod a luncheon at the Weber club. Mr. Wostgaard, accompanied ac-companied by his wifo and Chauffeur Ralph Perkins, arrived in Ogdon lata last night after an automobile trip from Boise, Idaho. E. L. Emery, iutor-mountain iutor-mountain superintendent of tho national na-tional association, was ono of the guests at tho luncheon toduy. With regard to tho transcontinental highway through tho coutral portion of tho United States, Mr. Weatgaard mado little comment, declaring, however, that bocauso of its central location and, natural nat-ural position nothing could koop Ogdon off tho main routo of the proposed coast-to-coast Toad. Mr. WoBtgaard was a member of tho Indianapolis party of auto manufacturers manufactur-ers who recently mado tho trip acros.s tho continent and iB now returning from San Francisco. His big car is fully oquippod with tools and appliances appli-ances for any emergency. Tn his work as a pathfuidor Mr. Wostgaard attempts any and all roads, logging every route ho traverses. |
