Mrs. John N, Booth, chairman of tho Old Trails committee com-mittee of tho Daughters of the American Revolution, today drove the first stako that Is to mark the old trail from SL : Louis to Kansas City. This trail was traveled by pioneers who went overland to Independence, Mo., near Kansas City, and there joined the great caravans,, of homeseekcrs that followed the Oregon trail to the northwest or tho Santa Fe trail to tho southwest.
