Show Loder DUP The Ellen Buckland Loder Camp Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Friday, March 16 at 1 p.m. in the Servus Drug party room. Luncheon was served to 16 members. Hostesses were Neva New-comb, New-comb, Helen Stevens and Helen Johnson. CAPT. IRMA Humphrey conducted the meeting. Salute to the flag was led by Angeline Moss, parliamentarian. parliamen-tarian. Opening prayer and blessing on the food was given by Minnie Draper. Betty Woodall read an interesting history of life in the far west, of her greatgrandfather, great-grandfather, Joseph Smith McDonald, from his journal. LESSON leader Beatrice Mabey presented the lesson "Freighters and Freighting." Songs enjoyed by the group were "Oh Ye Mountains High" led by Fern Evans and accompanied on the piano by Ruth Olsen and "A Jolly Wagoner" read by Fern Evans. |
