Show Farmington Mel and Ernestine Held drove to Rigby, Idaho , recently to visit with their son and family, Mel and Sherie Held. They all celebrated the first birthday of young Mel IV while there. He has an older sister Jan. Dr. and Mrs. Harold (Rhoda) Hinckley of Long Beach, Calif, and their daughter LaRue Cutler have come to Salt Lake City and Davis County for the LDS Conference and to visit with relatives. They visited with Mrs. Hinckley's sister, Clara Richards and others in Farmington. Far-mington. Mrs. Cutler's daughter, Lorraine, a student at BYU, was also here for several days. A.V. and Mary Millard Smoot who are serving a mission for the LDS Church in Phoenix, Ariz., came on Thursday to attend the funeral services of Edgar S. Smoot, a brother of A.V. Smoot. Lucille Radcliffe was honored at a family dinner party at the home of Nathan and Joyce Byers of Spencer Way, Farmington, on March 25. Mrs. Radcliffe of San Clemente, Calif, is here visiting visit-ing her daughter and family, the Byers, and to visit her mother and aunt. Ivy Lawson and Minnie Millard. The Senior Literary Club will meet with Helen Hughes on April 12 at 2 p.m. Mrs. Hughes will review the biography "Indira Gandhi" written by Zareer NaSani. The Literary Guild meets April 19 at the home of Colleen Willcox at 8 p.m. Fern Whitaker will review "The Wife of P.T. Barnum" written by P.T. Barnum. |
