Show Joann Short Elected In Region Adelines The Bountiful Chapter of Sweet Adelines, Inc. has announced an-nounced that a member, Joann Short, has been elected vice regent over a six state area including Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and southern Idaho. MRS. SHORT has been a special asset of the Bountiful Chapter, having served as president, secretary, co-chairman co-chairman of this year's show, and having been selected in the past as Sweet Adeline of the Year. She is currently a member of the committee in charge of the annual convention and competition, to be held April 20-21 at the Capitol Theatre. TEN CHORUSES and 14 quartets from throughout the region will vie for a place on the Saturday night Show of Champions. The winning chorus and quartet will also be eligible to compete on the International level. All barbershop lovers are welcome to attend both the competitions and the Show of Champions. Tickets will be available at the Capitol Theatre box office. |
