Show GOP To Elect Party Leaders FARMINGTON - Candidates Can-didates for positions in the Davis County Republican Party were announced today by Ralph Olmo, County GOP ' treasurer. HE SAID three political workers-two from Bountiful and one from Fruit Heights-have Heights-have been nominated for county GOP party chairman. Gene Peresich and Harry Gerlach, both of Bountiful, and Ted Stewart, an attorney from Fruit Heights, are seeking the party chairmanship. chair-manship. Mr. Peresich and Mr. Gerlach have served as legislative district chairmen during the past two years and Mr. Stewart has served as a district delegate to the county convention. RUBY PRICE, of Layton, is the only candidate to file thus far for the vice chair position, according to Mr. Olmo. Jay Hanson, of Centerville, who served last year as chairman of the Davis County Young Republicans, is the only nominee for secretary. Mr. Olmo said he will not seek re-election as county GOP treasurer and there has been no other candidate file for this position. THE GOP county convention conven-tion will be held Saturday, .April 28, at 2 p.m. in the Farmington Elementary School multipurpose room.
