He told of the hardships this greatgrandfather great-grandfather endured as a youth. He joined the church, as a boy of 14 in New York State. He told of his walking many miles to Kirkland, Ohio, and while there seeing and shaking hands with the Prophet Joseph Smith. How he later came to Utah with his wife and family. Mr. Belnap also said that the descendants of this greatgrandfather great-grandfather now number into the hundreds. |
