Bountiful Eight and Power won a Perfect Record award in the category of electric systems sys-tems with 50,000 to 99,999 man-hours of exposure annually. APPA contest judges determined utility safety safe-ty records by the number of reportable injuries per man- hour worked. Reportable injuries in-juries for the competition's purpose were defined by the American National Standards Institute. APPA conducts the safety contest to draw attention to the importance of safe working habits in the electric utility industry, in-dustry, and to utilities with outstanding safety records. |
