Show I -u I f I t t r t ... I f " 1 iMlllL 1 MR. AND MRS. RAY OLSEN Wed in March Shelley Ann Schmutz became be-came the bride of Raymond E. Olsen on Friday, March 25. The ceremony, held at the Lion House, was performed by Bishop L. Jay Monk of the Bountiful 30th Ward. SHELLEY IS the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. Gardner Schmutz, 611 E. 2150 S., Bountiful. Prior to the wedding ceremony, cere-mony, parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Olsen, Providence, hosted a wedding breakfast at the Heidelberg. The couple was further honored hon-ored that evening with a reception recep-tion at the Lion House in Salt Lake City. : THE BRIDE wore her mother's wedding gown of silk organza over taffeta. Lace inserts in-serts formed a sabrina neckline over the bodice. The lace was matched on the edge of her elbow-length veil and on the princess waistline. The skirt extended to chapel length, and she carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis. A friend of the bride, Jean-nee Jean-nee L. Olsen, served as matron of honor. Other members of the wedding party included sisters sis-ters of the groom, Ann Olsen, Pam Olsen, and Jana Buttars; Cousins of the bride Tamara and Leslie Ekker; and Janell Blad. They wore short yellow skirt and blouse ensembles, accented with blue sashes, and carried nosegays of daisies and spring flowers. THE MOTHERS of the bride and groom wore short dresses in shades of blue, accented by daisy corsages. Brenda T. Larsen attended the bridal book, and gifts were taken by Lisa Brown, Cindy Bangerter, Laurie Goodrich, and Lisa Knight. Assisting with the serving were Lisa Beltz, Natalie Olsen, and Suzanne Olsen. MUSIC WAS provided on the piano by Leland Olsen, a cousin of the groom. Vocal numbers were sung by Tamara Ekker, and Ted Ekker, an uncle un-cle of the bride. Best man was the groom's uncle, Steve Olsen, with Phillip Phil-lip and Kenneth Schmutz, brothers of the bride, serving as ushers. PRENUPTIAL parties were given by Ellen, Pam and Ann Olsen, Jana Buttars, Janell Blad, Lisa Knight, Jill Graham, Gra-ham, Lisa Wheeler, Brenda Larsen and JoAnne Allen. Following a honeymoon to southern Utah and Nevada, the couple will make their home in Roy. |
