Show Heinz Poike and daughter : Ute journeyed to Paul, Ida., Sunday, to visit with their son : and brother Jergen, who has :: been working for Mike Tel ford on his farm. Jergen returned re-turned to West Bountiful for a short visit. Rick and Ann Saunders visited briefly in the West Bountiful area during the UEA weekend. They were the guests of Belle Ranck. Rick is a music teacher at Richfield High School. Sunday was an important day for Stewart and Evelyn Winegar, former West Boun-tifulites. Boun-tifulites. They spoke in Sacrament Meeting prior to their departure for a mission to North Carolina. At the same meeting their son spoke, prior to his departure for the mission field. Stewart is the uncle of Lee Winegar and Evelyn is the sister of Jane Page and Doug Argyle. Citizens are reminded that there is one more registration date before the Nov. 4 elections elec-tions for city councilmen and for voting on the Mass Transit Issue. The date is Oct. 28. Those who desire to register should register at the homes of Agness Manguss, District 1 (536 N. 500 W.) or Kay Goldberg, Gold-berg, District 2 (855 W. 400 N.) between, the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. - Candidates Vern Belcher, Harriet Stephens, Eli Mitchell, Eric Eastman, Ron Black, and Keith Salmon, urge all voters to get registered regis-tered and to come out to vote. Daniel Blackburn was called to be the president of the Teachers Quorum in the West Second Ward. His assis-' assis-' tants are Terry Maughan and Scott Mann. Secretary is LaMar Bangerter. Kathy Mcllrath will serve as a Sunday Sun-day School teacher. All women between the ages of eighteen and up are cordially invited to attend Relief Society each week. There are morning Relief Societies in all three wards. Presidents are Mrs. Raymond Hayes, Mrs. Lavore Tullis, and Mrs. Don Curtis. Evening Relief Society is held in the Second-Third Ward Church each Tuesday. Young Adult Relief Society is held each Sunday morning in the West Bountiful Ward. We hope that Oixie Nebeker's father, Leslie Arnold, Ar-nold, will scon be completely recovered after his re:ent hospitalization. The Jerry Kilpacks worked very industriously last Saturday Satur-day as they assisted in the Idaho potato harvest. All interested are invited to hear Cleon Skousen speak on Priesthood and the Constitution Constitu-tion at the Regional Center (Valley Music) Sunday. Golda Cook and family, of Evergreen Circle, were welcomed wel-comed into the community. |
