Show J - i FRESHMEN OFFICERS By LORRAINE MUNSON The Woods Cross halls are filled with excitement and enthusiasm this week. Students are excited that more than half of the first term is over. They are also filled with enthusiasm over onr great teams. "DIG IN Defense" was the cry heard at the Sophomore game with Davis. Members of the Spirit Club went along to spark up lots of cheering. The Wildcats stuck together and did a great job, but lost 14 to 6. The next Sophomore game is on the 15th against Ben Lomond on our home field. Those fighting Freshmen j just continue to prove what j Wildcats are made of. In a game against Centerville they ! just really bounced those Chargers around. The score was 20 to 15. The first Freshmen Fresh-men defeat was against Sunset Sun-set in a cold and rainy game. The score was 36 for Sunset and 12 for those mighty Wildcats! Wild-cats! ON OCTOBER 6 the Representive Meeting was held. Each home room sent their elected representatives to give class complaints and ; ideas for upcoming events. - Each representative was as-' as-' signed to a committee headed . by a Student Government '. member. It was a very suc-- suc-- cessful meeting. All the Wildcats enjoyed a couple of lazy days as teachers attended U.E.A. We get another break on the 20th for the deer hunt. School will dismiss at 1 p.m. on Friday the 17th. LAST WEEK, the School Freshmen officers this year at Woods Cross High School are, 1 to r, Sandy Nelson, vice president; Lynn Wester-gaard, Wester-gaard, president, and Jelair Feller, secretary. Board announced the plans for building the remainder of Woods Cross High. The freshmen fresh-men attending Woods Cross now, will be the first graduating class if all goes as planned. Everyone is looking i forward to its completion. Student Government also announced this week the plans for continued building on making the Pride Right at Woods Cross High -- Spirit Week - Oct. 21-24. |
