Show West Bountiful Time goes by faster when family members get to visit each other. Mark Curtis spent four days visiting at Ricks College with his sister Karen. On the side he went to West Yellowstone. A high spot in the vacation was seeing "Old Faithful" erupt in a snow storm. Church at West Bountiful Ward last week was both inspirational in-spirational and informative. Max and LaRue Johnson spoke on the subject of genealogy and temple work. They have been doing microfilming in Missouri and California. Max is the son of Jesse and Clara Johnson. . The West Bountiful Ward is working hard and long to prepare for their fair to be held Nov. 15. Put the date on f. .f. ,f. .1. .f. .f .f. .y V your calendar. There will be goodies for everybody to buy. In the West Bountiful Third Ward, Sunday afternoon's Sacrament Meeting had something not seen very often. It was known as "ladies' night." Lorraine Pack, Primary President; Charlotte Hayes, Relief Society President; and Claudette Hall, Sunday School Organist spoke. Claudette told of her Institute class on the scripture scrip-ture of The Book of Mormon. Kyle and Jennifer Hall also sang a duet. Time goes slowly when people are new in a community com-munity and trying to learn everyone's names. We wel- v come Julie and Ralph Oman, who have moved into Sun-nyview, Sun-nyview, at 725 W. 1498 N. ; and Dennis and Peggy McMillan, of Sunnyview (1463 N. 725 W.). He is the son of Ann Shepherd. We also welcome Ralene Frazier and two daughters, who live in the Casper Subdivision (Evergreen Circle). We wish the Kay Knightons (who formerly lived on 1600 N.) well as they move from the community. Mike and Sharon Telford, of Paul, Ida., were down to attend at-tend the funeral of Sharon's grandfather. They stopped at the home of the Bob Telfords. The Bob Telfords were happy to entertain Wanda's brother, Neil Secrist during the past week. He was up from Westminster, West-minster, Calif. He enjoyed attending at-tending the Stake Seventy Missionary Fund Banquet, held at the 12th-22nd Ward last Friday night. Highlight of the Convocation Convoca-tion Service was the address by President Spencer W. ' Kimball. Mrs. Taylor went by plane to Denver Saturday to visit with her son Alan in Denver. |
