Show Furtaw-Haugen Diane Elizabeth Furtaw and James Lewis Haugen were married on Oct. 10 in the Salt Lake Temple with Elder Benjamin L. Bowring performing per-forming the rites. THE BRIDE'S parents are Daniel J. Furtaw, Salt Lake City and Sydell D. Furtaw of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and the bridegroom's parents are William and Doris Haugen of Farmington. A wedding breakfast was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Haugen and an open house was held in the Farmington Sixth Ward Chapel. THE BRIDE selected a traditional gown with long pouffed sleeves, lace trim at the wrists and high neckline, with form fitting bodice and ruffled hem. Her bouquet was of pink and lavender violets surrounded by baby breath, roses and daisies with lavender ribbons. Charlotte Simmons was maid of honor and her gown was floor length knit burgundy bur-gundy polyester with a white trim. Her corsage was white roses with pink and lavender ribbons. -THE MOTHER of the bridegroom selected a floor length gown of plain rose and inserts of floral print with lace trim and her corsage was a white silk rose with pink and lavender flowers and pink and lavender ribbons. The mother of the bride was unable to attend. LARRY HAUGEN performed per-formed the duties of best man for his brother and wore a white carnation boutonniere as did the father of the bridegroom and father of the bride. The bridegroom wore a lavender rose boutonniere. The new Mr. and Mrs. Haugen went to Southern Utah for a honeymoon and will make their home in Farmington. Far-mington.
