Show "200" Games Feature Women's Bowling Two hundred games were the order in the Cedar Women's Bowling leagues this past week. The top game was a 231 rolled; by Rosie Graff. That was followed follow-ed closely by a 221 by Geniel Twitchell and a 220 by Virginia Ogden. In series a 544 by Evelyn Eve-lyn Jones was the top effort. By leagues high scores were as follows: Queen's Pins: Rosie Graff had the high series with a 506 and Til lie Biederman came up with a 184 for the high game. Lin's Market swept the team competition competi-tion with a game of 613 and a series of 1776. Strike-Ettes: Geniel Twitchell rolled her 221 game in this league and finished up with a 538 series for the tops in both departments. Close behind was Sara Mitchell with a 203 game and 514 series. A 785 game and 2211 series by Twitchell Uphol-stery Uphol-stery was tops in both departments. depart-ments. Cedar Belles: R. C. Cola won team honors with a 878 game and 2375 series. In second in both departments was Jackson Cleaners with a 772 and 2215, respectively. Individual honors were divided with Virginia Randall Ran-dall posting the top series of 539 but the 231 game of Rosie Graff was tops for a single game. Donna Don-na Cooley was second in both with a 196 game and 520 series. Alley Katts: Effie Marler scored scor-ed second nigh in tnis league with the top game of 216 and top series of 576. In team competition compe-tition it was Kolob Sheet Metal with a 779 game and 2383 series. Thursday Morning Scratch: Evelyn Jones had the top series of the week in this league with a 544 topped with a game of 217. Virginia Ogden, rolling as a substitute, sub-stitute, however, had the top single game, a 220. Team 3, composed com-posed of Evelyn Jones, Nora Smith and Verla Cripps, swept team efforts with a game of 502 and series of 1380. |
