Show Bishopric Sustained By Cedar 8th Ward A new bishopric was sustained at the Ward Conference of the Cedar Eighth Ward, Cedar West Stake, held Sunday evening. Named as bishop was Dr. Conrad Con-rad Hatch, member of the College Col-lege of Southern Utah faculty. Named as counselors under the reorganization were Dr. Garth Chatterley, first counselor and Howard Thorley, second counselor. counsel-or. The reorganization proposal was presented by Stake President Presi-dent Frank D. Day and sustained by the ward membership. Released after six years of service were Giles Bolander, Bishop; Bi-shop; Gail Duncan, first counselor counsel-or and Frank Petty, second counselor. coun-selor. Also released were, clerks, Clifton Chatierlcy, Reod Brad-shaw Brad-shaw and Antone Hunter. Clerks to serve under the new bishopric have not yet been named. In addition to six years in their present capacities, Bp. Bolander and Counselor Duncan served an additional year and one half I as counselors to Bp. Vernee Frame. |
