Show Plans Announced For Annual Bowling Tournament The annual bowling tournament tourna-ment of the Iron County Bowling Association will be staged in April Ap-ril it was announced this week by Bob Cormani, president. Two week ends will be utilized for the annual event, April 6-7, and April 13-14, he stated. Competition will be on a handicap han-dicap basis in singles, doubles and five-man team events. An all-events division will also be held with awards based on ' scratcn series. Trophies will be awarded for top scratch efforts in each division divi-sion and an estimated $335 in cash awards is expected to be made for top handicap scores. In addition a special prize will be awarded for the bowler who has the highest pin fall over his average. To qualify, however, entrant must have a 140 average or better, according to Byron Anderson, An-derson, Association secretary. ' The prize will be a three-day and two night trip to Las Vegas 'for two persons. , i |
