Show Director Announces New Faculty Members at C.S.U. Two new faculty members have been announced at College of Southern Uuh by Dr. Roy-den Roy-den C. Braithwaite, director. Mrs. Carmen Croft Jones will teach weaving in the Family Liv-I ing department and will assist with special displays throughout the college. Mrs. Jones is a native na-tive of Cedar City and attended! Branch Agricultural College. She graduated from Utah State Agrl-i cultural College in Logan with a bachelor of science degree in tex- tiles and clothing. She received a master's degree in retailing, from New York University and taught at Auburn University in. Auburn, Alabama. After returning to Utah Mrs.) Jones held the position of buyeri at ZCMI In Salt Lake City. She worked with USAC extension service ser-vice and taught clothing and textiles tex-tiles at College of Southern Utah. She is a member of the Utah De-j signer Craftsmen organization and her weaving has been (lis-1 played in their shows as well as ing a touring exhibit of arts and crafts of the Far West which was shown throughout the nation. She has been active in church and community affairs. She is the wife of H. Wendell Jones, Iron County livestockman, and they are the parents of three children. J. Henry Grimshaw, Cedar Valley, Val-ley, will teach -welding in the Industrial In-dustrial Education department Mr. Grimshaw was educated in Santa Ana, Calif., schools and has worked in mechanics and welding for 25 years. He fulfilled a mission to Holland for the LDS Church and has served as Paro-wan Paro-wan Stake Mission President and Seventies President. He is presently pres-ently bishop of thr Enoch LDS ward, a position he has held for five years. He Is married to the former Hilda Holyoak and they are the parents of nine children. |
