Show OUT TO SCORE Broncos Accept Weber Tourney Invite Coach Bruce Osborne of the College of Southern Utah, head of the track and field team on the campus, announced this week that his team would participate in an invitational track meet at Ogden, sponsored by . Weber College, Saturday, May 7. This meet, in which Coach Osborne Os-borne will enter 15 men, will be the last one before the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Collegiate Athletic Conference meet which will be held in Ogden on Saturday, May 14. Other teams participating in the meet in addition to C S U and Weber, will be Westminster College, Carbon and Snow. Could Cop Honors Coach Osborne expressed his sincere belief that the C S U team would be able to cop top honors at this meet, and he further expressed ex-pressed his belief that the meet would help prepare his men for the conference meet. In the Weber Invitational as in the conference meet, Coach Osborne Os-borne will enter every event, and every relay with the exception of the two mile race. Although Ricks College is con sidered by most fans as the strongest team in the I C A C this year the Broncos of C S U will undoubtedly give the Vikings Vik-ings the stiffest competition and with the possible assistance of other schools in the I C A C for scattered points in the meet the possibilities of an I C A C title for the Broncos is not completely out of the question. Meador Shows Strength Bill Meador, a hustling sprint man who has repeatedly bettered the mark set at the B Y U invitational invita-tional in the 100 yard dash, will be expected to take first in both the Weber meet and the I C A C, Osborne said. The sprint star ran second in the 220 at BY U and the chahce of Meador capturing captur-ing a first in this event is quite possible. J. N.
