Show Music Department Gives Spring Concert Numbers The annual Spring Concert of the music department of the Parowan Par-owan High School will be held on Sunday evening, May 8 In the high school auditorium a.t 8 o'clock, o'-clock, with the public invited and urged to attend. The program for the concert as arranged by LaNolr Asay of the music department includes the following numbers by the band, choruses and smaller groups, although al-though the order of presentation presenta-tion may be different than given here: The "Star Spangled Banner," "American Patrol," Twiddle Dee Dee," "Los Pescadores," "Light Cavalry." "Two Moods." bv the band; "You'll Never Walk Alone." "Blow High. Blow Low," and "If I Loved" You." by the mixed chorus; "Spirit Flower" by triple tri-ple trio; "Rain and the Klver," 'Slumber Song," and "I Heard a Forest Praying," festival numbers by the girls' chorus, with three numbers, by the same group as follows: "All The Things You Are," "The Litte French .Clock," and "If I Could Tell You." "Battle Hymn of the Republic." by mixed chorus; flute solo by Gordon Adams, saxophone duet by Roger Gurr and Robert Dal-ley, Dal-ley, trumpet solo by David Topham, Top-ham, bass clarinet solo bv Jackie Jack-ie Ward, clarinet trio by Barbara Bayles, Barbara Warren and Pat Urie, and a vocal solo by Mr. Asay. Two numbers by the band, "Dixieland" and "Washington Post." will stress the twirlers. The final number listed is, "No Maan Is An Island" by a male quartet. |
