Show Elks Meet to Study Scout Troop Re-organization Efforts to attempt the reorganization reorgan-ization of a Boy Scout Troop through the sponsorship of the Cedar City Elks Lodge No. 1556 got under way Monday evening when a meeting was called and all non-affiliated boys were asked ask-ed to meet. Chirks W. Moore is serving as chairman of the Boy Scout Committee for the Elks and Henry H. (Ham) Leigh has been chosen to serve as scoutmaster) for the troop. At the first meeting Monday evening in the basement of the Elks Lodge, nine boys were in at-J tendance and arrangements for solicitation of more participants were outlined. The group extended an invitation invita-tion to all boys in the area who are not now active In a Boy Scout organization, to call at the I lodge hall on Monday evening to participate in the Elks Boy Scout Troop activities. |
