Show Funeral Services Conducted For James Anderson Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed for James E. Anderson on Thursday, April 28, in the Third Ward chapel, with Bishop Paul Stokes presiding. Speakers at the services were Victor Ford and Samuel F. Leigh, and sentiments were read by Desley Lowe Anderson, of St. George. Invocation was by Leo Larson, benediction by William A. Jones, and the dedicatory prayer by William R. Palmer. Prayer at the home prior to the services was by Grant Hunter. The musical program Included two numbers, "Oh My Father," and ."Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," Some-where," by. a double mixed quartet quar-tet composed of Mrs. Esther Jones, Mrs. Robert Muir, Mrs. Zelma Lunt, Mrs. LaRae Gulll-ford, Gulll-ford, Robert Wright, DeMoin Jones, Ralph Hafen and William Condie! a vocal duet. "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," by Ruth C. Urie and Gladys Isom, and a vocal solo, "Coin Home." by Joseph Hunter. Mr. Hunter was accompanied by Mrs. Bernel-la Bernel-la Jones, and accompanist for the other numbers was Mrs. Cora Condie. The musical program was under the diiection of Mrs Hazel Granger. |
