Show foe Atkin Selected Area Supervisor Of Southern Counties Joe Atkin, county supervisor of the Farmers Home Administration, Administra-tion, will receive a promotion to the position of Area Supervisor and will be technically In charge of the FHA activities of Iron, Washington, Beaver, Garfield and Kane counties, It was learned today. to-day. Atkin will maintain his offices In Cedar City and the FHA will send a replacement for the county coun-ty post to be vacated by Atkin, according to Clarence A. Anderson, Ander-son, state director and former Cedar City resident. Under a new set-up of FHA operation and administration it Is planned to geographically locate lo-cate three area supervisors in addition ad-dition to the one at Cedar City. Other supervisors will be located at Ogden, Roosevelt and Provo. C. Leland Dalley, a former Cedar City resident now living In St. George, has also been appointed as an Area Supervisor at Ogden. "In this reorganization," Anderson Ander-son said, "we do not expect to create more positions than we know have. However, it will place the program closer to our field offices and the farmers. The Area Supervisor," he continued, "will represent the state office and he could be called a senior technician-operator over the counties In the area." Atkin will have In his area f07 existing loans and will supervise sup-ervise nine employees, Anderson Ander-son said. New funds for use in FIIA loans will in all probability be available on July 1 and it Is expected, Anderson said, that more funds will be available this vear. Loans are being made all the time, he snid, and at the present time funds are quite low. |
