Show Red Cross Fund Drive Contribution Figures Announced Through the cooperative efforts of a host of Iron County workers work-ers and the cooperation of businesses busi-nesses and Interested citizens a total of $3101.61 was raised in the recently completed Red Cross Fund Drive, according to Loran Hirschi, county drive chairman. Cedar City's contribution to the county total amounted to $2,413.-20, $2,413.-20, Hirschi stated. Of that amount Sl.GGO.SO was cortributcd by the businesses and the remaining $781.70 was contributed through a drive in the residential dis-trist. dis-trist. J. Other communities in the county, their contributions and community chairmen are listed as follows: Parowan $347.40, Bain Matheson; Paragonah, $72.05, Mrs. McBride; Newcastle, $15.25. Dean Forsyth; Modena, $35.50, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Force; Lund. $13.00, Mrs. J. L. Holyoak; Ka-narravlllo, Ka-narravlllo, $3G.00, Mrs. Opal Williams; Wil-liams; Beryl, $46.08, Mrs. J. F. Moyle; Enoch, $49,10, Stewart Murie. Total collections from communities commu-nities outside of Cedar City were $059.44. Results were most gratifying, Hirschi said and he also extended extend-ed a vote of thanks to Grant Secgmiller, who assisted in the final days of the drive. |
