Lion Tamers, behind the brilliant pitching of Steven Cahoon downed the league champions. Rotary Rangers Rang-ers to the tune of 12 to 2 while the Elks Ruiers came from behind be-hind in the final inning of play to beat Columbia by a score of C to 5. Little Steven Cahoon. left handed hand-ed 10-year-old for the Lions, was credited with 13 strikeouts against the hard hitting Rotary club, the first nine strikeouts coming in the first three innings of play. Jeff Marchant and Roger Higbee were on the mound for the Rangers with three Innings each. Scoring three runs In the first and second innings and adding four in the third the Lions took a 10 to 0 lead and didn't allow a run until the fourth Inning. Rotary Ro-tary scored on in the fourth and one in the sixth. Thursday evening Columbia, holding down the cellar post through most of the second half gave the Elks Rulers a scare bv taking an early lead and holding hold-ing it under the last half of the last inning when the Elks pushed across two runs.
