Show State Fair Exhibitors Reserve Show Space Industrial and commercial fi:ms in Utah are rapidly reserving reserv-ing the available space for exhibits ex-hibits at the 1954 Utah State Fair and Industrial Exposition, according ac-cording to Athe Meeks, assistant fair manager. "With opening date of the exposition ex-position less than a month away, many of the firms are already j busy beginning to prepare their displays." he said. One large exhibition area to be sponsored by the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce in cooper-jation cooper-jation with the Utah Manufacturers Manufactur-ers Association will feature the theme "Utah at Work." This exhibit ex-hibit will include some of the Ingest industries in Utah that represent the backbone of em-plo em-plo mcnt in the State. Take Half the Space "About half of the space on the second floor of the Industrial Arts building has been taken by exhibitors for the ' Do-It-Yourself" show, which is a new addition to the State Fair," Mr. Meeks stated. This show will include the newest products designed by manufacturer for the home craftsmen. "All of the space on the first floor of the Industrial Arts Build-1 mg is already under contract for commercial exhibits," the assistant assist-ant State Fair manager reported. Industrial and commercial exhibits ex-hibits at the 1934 State Fair will be tied into the exposition theme "What Makes Utah Atoms Click," and will give emphasis to the gieat strides that have been made in turning Utah from a rural state to one that also ranks high in manufacturing and iridic;' iri-dic;' rial activity. "The eyes of the nation have been focused on new uranium developments in I'tah, and we hope to focus these same eyes on the great industrial progress that i has been made and the great potential po-tential for the future," Mr. Mocks jsald. |
