Show Woolgrowers Aux. To Sponsor Fashion Show, Tea A fashion show and tea spon-soied spon-soied by the Woolgrowers Auxiliary Auxil-iary of Cedar City will be held Tuesday, Aug. 31 at the First Ward Relief Society rooms in connection with the organization's organiza-tion's "Make It Yourself With Wool Contest." Mrs. Angus Bulloch, president of the auxiliary unit, indicated that from the young ladies participating par-ticipating a candidate or candidates candi-dates to participate In the state contest will be selected. In attendance at the fashion show of wool fabrics will be members of the auxiliary, mothers moth-ers of the participating ladies, and interested women of the community. Participating in the contest will be young ladies from Cedar City and other communities of southern Utah including Monroe, Hurricane, St. George and Hamilton's Hamil-ton's Fort. In order to qualify for the contest con-test the Misses must design and make the particular article of clothing that is entered in the contest. They must then model the clothing at local, state and national contests. The young ladies la-dies must win local, state and national contests in that order. The state contest is held in connection con-nection with the Utah State Fair and is conducted at the fair grounds in Salt Lake City. In the past several years participants par-ticipants from this area have been entered in the state contests. |
