Show Teachers Institute Slated for County Educators A three-day teachers' institute in preparation for the opening of the schools of Iron County will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week, Sept. 1, 2 and 3. The institute will be held In the new North Elementary Elemen-tary School, according to Ian-thus Ian-thus Wright, superintendent, i The theme for the institute will be "Growing Professionally," Mr. Wright states, and consultants consult-ants will be Dr. Don Orton, dean of the school of education; Dr. Marie Hughes, of the department of education; Cecil Samuelson, director of guidance, and Lou Groesbeck, director of elementary elemen-tary education. All are from the State Department of Education. Attending the three-day conference con-ference will be Oft teachers, who comprise the teaching staff of the Iron County schools. Officers of the various Parent-' Parent-' Teachers Associations have been j invited to participate, it is un-j un-j derstood. |
