Show Mrs. Floyd Atkins Installed as Kiwani-Anns Prexy Mrs. Floyd Atkin was installed as president of the Kiwani-Anns of Cedar City at an impressive ceremony held at the Cedar Breaks Lodge last Saturday evening. eve-ning. The annual installation party with Kiwani-Anns, their husbands hus-bands and guests in attendance is sponsored by the out-going officers. Mrs. McRay Cloward, past president, presided. Election of officers was held in advance and the winners were not announced until the installation instal-lation party Saturday evening. Other officers installed at the meeting were: Mrs. Walter Lowe, vice president; Mrs. Irvin Ulver, secretary and treasurer; Mrs. Tim Clove, and Mrs. Ivan Orton, as members of the board of directors. direct-ors. Mrs. Cloward will serve on the board for one year as Immediate Im-mediate past president, and holdover hold-over members include Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Heyborne and Mrs. Max Robinson. Rob-inson. Outgoing officers, besides Mrs. Cloward, include: Mrs. Frank Milne, vice president; Mrs. Frank Petty, secretary and treasurer; trea-surer; Mrs. Lowe, publicity director di-rector and Mrs. Atkin, Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Stratton and Mrs. Howard Stokes board members. A hilarious skit "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" was presented by members of thKiwanls Club. Except for a few wrong cues and lighting effects, which added to the show, the skit was a huge success. Musical entertainment was furnished by Mrs. York Jones, who played two piano solos. |
