Show Elephant Walk To Begin Saturday Noon lot has been said about the circus coming to town Saturday, Aug. 2S but little has been said about the "Elephant Walk" down Cedar City's Main Street Saturday Satur-day morning. The Bailey Bros & Cristiani Circus Cir-cus features nine elephants and with nine elephants and the balance bal-ance of the circus company a parade will be staged Saturday at 12 noon so that all can get a glimpse of tr.c outstanding ar-n.y ar-n.y of talent, j For the information of the parents par-ents the Jaycees, sponsoring or-jganization, or-jganization, reminds everyone ithet no sideshows are attached j to this traveling organization. It lis strictly a performance and entertaining en-tertaining show with absolutely no "gyp" shows attached. The organization does not have the familiar tent show but will stage the ev?nt in the open at the College of Southern Utah football field. The show will last approximately two hours. Children under 12 years of age will be the guests of Cedar City business firms at the afternoon show to begin at 2:15 p. m The business firms of Cedar City have bought out the show and all that will be required of the children chil-dren to pay is 10c to cover the ficldhouse tax. All the kiddies have to do is call at any of the business houses and tickets will be given to them free of charge. Adult admission of $1.25 will be charged at both performances. The evening show will get under way at 8 o'clock. Bob Hansen, general chairman for the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, reminded patrons that the circus will be a one day performance perform-ance with only the two shows to be given. |
