Show Coach Decker Calls Squad Prospects To Practice Sessions With the first practice game for this year's Parowan High School football squad only two weeks away, Coach Bruce Decker has called the first practice session for Monday afternoon, Aug. 30. Coach Decker has issued a call for all prospective squad members to report for suits beginning be-ginning today, Thursday, and he states that he will be at the school for the purpose of issuing suits from today until Monday when the opening practice session ses-sion is slated. While graduation left quite a hole in the backfield, Mr. Decker states that the line should be fairly strong with most positions posi-tions to be filled toy veterans, and men with some experience. The first game is a practice session with the high school at Panaca, Nev. on Sept. 11, and the next week, Sept. 17 the Rams open league play at Milford with games each week from then on. The rams will then play Hurricane Hurri-cane at that place with Beaver, St. George, Cedar and Kanab to come here for games on the Parowan Paro-wan field. A practice game has been lined up for the week of the U E A convention with the high school at Overton, Nev. A complete schedule with teams and dates will be given next week. |
