Show Renee Jones, Henry ! Vandenberghe Wed in Temple Rites Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones of Enoch announced this week the marriage of their daughter Itenee. to Henry Vandenberghe. son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Vandenberghe of Cedar City. The popular young couple exchanged ex-changed vows in the Salt Lake LDS temple on Tuesday, Aug. 17 with David A. Broadbent performing per-forming the ceremony. Saturday the nevvlyueds returned re-turned to Enoch where the par cnts of the bride honored them at a reception and program at the- Enoch Ward recreation hall. Assisting the lov ly bride was lier sister, Mrs. Ilobert Munson. as matron of honor, and Lorraine Miller, Maxine Marshall and ' Aurella Jones, were bridesmaids. : The Misses Trudy Jones and Lu-cile Lu-cile Hunter were flower girls and ltoger Vandenberghe, stood as best man. Furnish Entertainment Musical numbers for the program pro-gram included a duet by Elwiri .Armstrong and lleorge Crim-shaw; Crim-shaw; a solo by Virginia Hose and a vocal trio composed of ,Florene Richardson, Barbara (jrimshaw ami Mavis Munson. Janice Jones accompanied. Assisting in the gift room were Susanne Halterman, Alene Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, and Clara May Hatch. Serving were Lois Christensen, Janice Jones, Barbara Grimshaw and Colleen Vandenberghe. Anna Smith was in charge of the guest book. Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Cedar City High School and the College of Southern South-ern Utah. Henry is now serving with the II. S. Army stationed at Fort Ord, Calif. He will return to his post, Friday, Aug. 27 whereupon he j will enter a clerk-typist school. A delightful wedding dinner was served in Salt Lake City by Mr. and Mrs. ElHoy Jones, uncle and aunt of the bride, following the wedding ceremony. Stephen Brower, Iron County agent, presented the couple with 4 11 Club awards in recognition recogni-tion of the work both have done In that program. Renee received ' a lovely bracelet and Henry was presented with a tie clasp. i |
