Show Work Moves Forward On Major CSU Building Projects Work la being lushed on three major building projects on the College of Southern Utah campus cam-pus in order to get the new buildings ready for use soon after the opening of school. Final details on construction on the new $C50,000 auditorium and library building, were approved ap-proved Saturday, when state officials offi-cials and the contractors met with Dr. Daryl Chase and members mem-bers of the school staff to coordinate coor-dinate the final details of construction con-struction on the ultra modem building. Conferring with the local officials offi-cials were James A. Wade, state building board superintendent; M. H. Harris, Jr., architect, and Arthur Jensen of the Jensen Brothers Bro-thers Construction Co., Salt Lake City, contractors. Work is going forward rapidly on the new library, particularly, which occupies a !32 to 100 foot wing of the building, where the very latest in library facilities will be provided. Reading, reception re-ception and other rooms will be located on the ground floor with bookstaeks and .cataloguing in the basement. The men's dormitory, designed design-ed to house 200 men students on the campus, is also progressing rapidly and should be ready for use before the close of the fall quarter. Remodeling of the heating plant to meet the heating needs for the expanded plant, is the third major item on the construction construc-tion program.
