Show Cedar City Jaycees Schedule Early Election Meet The annual election meeting of the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce will be held Thursday evening, eve-ning, Apr. 21 at the El Rey Cafe, it was announced by A. L. Thompson, club president, today. Ballots for five members to fill vacancies on the board of directors direc-tors was completed this week, Thompson said. At the April 21 meeting the offices of president, two vice presidents and a treasurer treas-urer will be filled from the serving serv-ing board members. Although the fiscal year of the Jaycees does not end until June 1, the election has been held for the ensuing year in ordei that elected officers can attend the annual state convention which will bo held on April 28, 29 30 and May 1. Under the recently revised bylaws by-laws of the Jaycees tne addition of a second vice president has been set up. Also the method of electing officers has been changed. chang-ed. Candidates who were placed In nomination to fill the five vacancies va-cancies on the board of directors include: Bud Bowman, Richard (Tom) Brown, Wilford Day, Carl Hardy, Lester Ileyborne, Oliver LeFevre, Douglas Lunt. Ron Morgan, Mor-gan, Haymer Morris, Von Way-men Way-men and Garth Webster. Announcement of the five winners win-ners will be made at the election elec-tion meeting.
