Show ' March Travel Figures For Zion Park Reveals Increase .March travel records at Zion National Park give indications that 1955 will be another record tourist year, according-to Paul R. Franke, superintendent. 'The unsettled weather in southern Utah during January and February Feb-ruary dropped park -visitations to the lowest for these months In some years, Mr. Franke said. However, good March weather brought 8,310 people in 3,241 cars to Zion, he said. Compared to 1954 when 7,016 people arrived in 2,686 cars, the park had an increase of 1,294 persons and 555 automobiles or approximately 20 per cent Increase. |
