Show Iron County First, Second Grades To Get Polio Shots At least 90 per cent of the 604 first and second grade students of Iron County will receive polio innoculatlon this month upon the release of the Salk polio vaccine, vac-cine, which has been declared successful. Prior to the announcement of the success of the polio vaccine experiment, parents of first and second grade children were given giv-en , the opportunity to request innoculation for polio. This was necesary in order that the vaccine vac-cine could be ordered in time to permit innoculation before the polio danger begins. Those who failed to make the request for the school innoculation, provided provid-ed through the polio foundation, will have the opportunity to immunize im-munize their children, but it must be received from their family physician and at their own expense. ex-pense.
