Show Cedar High School Selects j Slack for Conference l ki MORRIS SLACK Morris Slack, student body president pre-sident and popular football play-er play-er at the Cedar City high school, has been selected to attend the Rotary Youth Conference in Salt Lake City as delegate from the local school. The conference will open on Sunday, April 17, and continue through Tuesday, April 19. The delegates will be guests in the homes of Salt Lake Rotary Ro-tary Club members during their stay in the capital city. The boys will be taken on tours of industrial plants and other points of interest and will attend a special Rotary meeting during the conference. In addition to general and educational entertainment enter-tainment each will be eligible to compete for scholarships offered by the Salt Lake Club. Morris, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Slack, Is a senior at the high school where he is presently present-ly serving as student body presi-dent presi-dent and doing an outstanding Job In that capacity. For the past two years he has been an outstanding out-standing member of the Redmen regional championship football jteam. |
