Show PUBLIC FORUM "----''--'-'"' - Cedar City, Utah April 11, 1955 Dear Editor: We were disappointed that the public health services of the much needed third public health nurse were discontinued in Iron County. Surely, somehow funds could be raised to pay the half of her salary that was not appropriated by our County Commissioners. The public will surely miss the extra services that would have been available. The plans for extra clinics, such as the seizure clinic and the premature in'ont program, that would have been so beneficial benefi-cial to our county, will have to be laid aside until someone does something about it. Our school children are already alrea-dy missing the extra services that they enjoyed the few months when ve had three nurses. There will not be as much follow fol-low up care on mental clinics and crippled children clinics and other clinics that we now have because two nurses can not do the work of three. As taxpayers and parents of school children we ask the County Coun-ty Commissioners to please see if they can somehow, somewhere appropriate the funds needed to bring our nurse back.
