He came to the Uintah Basin with his parents, the late Hyrum Domgaard and Elsie D. Jordan, when two years of age. A resident of Uintah County for 47 years, he graduated from Alterra High School in 1949, after which he served in the Reconnaissance Division of the Korean Conf lict for three years. After graduating from the Central Utah Vocational School at Provo as a , heavy duty mechanic, he worked on many major construction projects throughout the state. He served in supervision and as superintendent for Strong Co. In the tradition of his grandparents who came into the basin in 1908, the prosperity pro-sperity and economic welfare of Uintah County has been one of his major concerns con-cerns and his proven ability to cope with others on difficult issues is commendable. com-mendable. Young is the Democratic candidate for County Commission, two year term. He graduated from San Juan High School in 1946. He has had 34 ' years of experience in several different personally owned small businesses. He is currently a rancher and sawmill owner and operator. He has 20 years experience in the construction business, both in housing and light commerical and has planned and built several subdivisions.
